YOUNG PEOPLE USING THE LAW TO FIGHT FOR JUSTICE
We acknowledge that wherever we are in Queensland, we are on the stolen lands of First Nations people and sovereignty has never been ceded. We pay our respects to elders past, present and emerging; and to the customs, law and traditions that have existed on this continent for thousands of years.
Youth Verdict is an organisation of young people from across Queensland using our legal rights to fight for our human rights and climate justice.
Our first case is taking Clive Palmer’s ‘Waratah Coal’ to court to stop his proposed climate-wrecking coal mine from destroying our human rights.
It is the first legal case ever launched in Australia by young people to fight coal and climate change on human rights grounds, and we must win. Our future depends on it.

We all have a story to share. Our stories are powerful and motivate people to take action.
If you're a young person, under 30, living in Queensland and would like to join us or share your own experiences of injustice please contact us.
